Day Texts
Day Texts provide the Collect of the Day, lectionary readings, and Prayers of the People content for a given lectionary day.
Under Day Texts on the Home page you’ll see both the traditional and contemporary versions of the Collect of the Day, and reading citations in the Lectionary Banner. These excerpts can be revealed and hidden by using the blue circle to the left of the heading. To see the day’s entire Day Texts content, click the “Read in full” to the right of the heading.
Clicking the “Read in full” link takes you to the Day Texts page. Click a citation in the box on the left to see the entire text of a reading in an overlay window—the reading texts also appear in the main content area of the page under the Day Texts tab. Clicking the “Download this content” link creates and downloads a text file of the content under the currently selected tab.
